I’m not sure if I follow… Your attic has a 100 sq feet floor area and you need to know what type of vents should be used? I don’t know what type of a roof you have (slope, material), are there any soffits and soffit vents installed, and is this attic area connected to any other attic.
My article here - http://checkthishouse.com/18/attic-ventilation-how-many-attic-vents-your-roof-needs.html should answer your question. If not, let me know.
