Does the foam insulation has to cover the suction line even in the duct work or only up to where the line goes into the duct work?

Hi Luigi

If by “duct work” you mean :”A” coil compartment, then NO – the suction line foam insulation should terminate at the wall penetration, just make sure that it is well sealed to prevent condensation buildup.
